Sometimes it's easier to get professional help when you are just beginning to wear cosmetics or when you want to change your look. Make sure that when you sit down at a cosmetics counter for a redo, you tell them a cup that is exactly why your goals are, where youd just like a new foundation or you want a totally fresh look. A good make-up artist will work with you, not against you. You can also go and have your make-up done just to see if the seasons latest colors will work on you. 
Trendy colors, however, are usually designed for single season wear. They are chosen in each season when make-up artists ask designers what colours they want to use on the runway. What does a finished face say about you? That you have taken some time. That you care about yourself. That you have self confidence. That you are not ashamed of you looking pretty or glamorous or fresh or even adorable. A good make up is one in which you, and not your make up, are noticed.
There are a few rules when it comes to wearing make-up. Mostly, through, make up should be about easy technique and personal taste.

- Once you know what you are doing, you can start having fun.
